I don't really pay attention to pageviews anymore.
I mean...I never really did. I did a couple kiriban for pageviews but only 'cause I needed some inspiration for arts.
But I happened to glance at my pageviews a minute ago (for some reason my psycho internet randomly took me to my userpage) and I have over 17K.

If not for my friends in the dA community, I would abandon this place to find another site to lurk on. You girls are like sisters to me (there are a few guys who watch who are like brothers to me too).
It's funny: IRL, most of my friends are guys. But here on dA, most of my friends are girls
See, most of the girls in the area where I live are very girly-girly and don't like anime, video-games, or visual arts. Many of them don't appreciate a good poem or story either...unless said poetry is terrible and/or being spouted by some idiot guy or the book is a best-seller.
The majority of the others are sporty-chicks who only like sports and camping and crap.
WE LIVE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, SURROUNDED BY WOODS! WHY THE HELL DO YOU NEED TO GO CAMPING?! JUST GO PITCH A TENT IN THE BACKYARD!

Ahem...
Yeah...I like fishing and sometimes I watch sports but I'm not a huge sports fan. I'd rather read a book, draw, or play a video-game. Or roam around outside. Almost anything but watch sports on tv or play sports (unless it's frisbee, volleyball, or badminton).
I was going to scan and upload the finally finished Kel'olin (yeah I decided to name my Drow Kel'olin anyway) face-shot...but I can't find it! The sketchpad I drew it in is missing!
I can't keep up with anything!
I found my camera, lost a sketchpad (I have numerous sketchpads). I hate having a small room packed with crap.
I really need to clean my room but I keep getting distracted. And I'm sooo easily distracted!

Now where was I?...Oh yes! Much much much much much love to you guys!
Without you guys, I wouldn't have any reason to stick around or really to keep doing art.
Seriously.
My mom doesn't care most of the time 'cause she thinks it's useless. My sister doesn't care, she'd rather sit in her room and trace things from how to draw books. Or she'll draw something crappy, ask my opinion, then become sullen like a child because I tell her, gently mind you, how to improve and what looks off. But she's a brat most days so I don't care.
My dad cares and Chad cares but that's about it really.
No one else cares unless they think they can get me to draw something for them for free. Most of the time I'll say "I can't draw/do that" or "I don't feel like it" because they wouldn't care about my artist's skills, what little I do have, if they didn't need something from me.

So next time you feel like you don't make a difference in anyone's life, remember that it's you guys, as my friends, who keep me from giving up my love of art.
